Inclusive learning environments, teacher training and tailored support so children with and without disabilities can learn together.

The department focuses on improving equitable access to quality education, strengthening inclusive teaching systems, and promoting safe learning opportunities for children, youth, and people with disabilities. Working closely with schools, teachers, education authorities, families, and community leaders, the department strengthens teacher professional development, curriculum mentorship, psychosocially informed teaching, disability-responsive learning systems, literacy improvement, and youth transition pathways. The department ensures that learners, especially girls, displaced children, and those with disabilities—can access safe, supportive, and equitable education environments that foster resilience, dignity, and long-term empowerment.
